I will be using this scholarship to its full potential, and I will use this award to better myself and to help others around me do the same.
I’m writing to say thank you so much for selecting me for the Dorothy K Engle Endowment for the Advancement of the Fine and Performing Arts scholarship. I was thrilled when I discovered that I was awarded this scholarship, and it means the world to me that I was chosen. I will be using this money to expand my education and also to improve my art skills.
I am an art major and I plan on pursuing an associates in art. I’m a full time freshman and I will be graduating in 2024, and I’m not certain yet if I will be transferring to a four-year school. I’m also unsure of an exact career that I will be shooting for, but I know one thing that’s for sure- I wish to pursue a career in the arts, and thanks to this award I am one step closer to pursuing my dreams.
By choosing me for this scholarship, you’ve helped me so much financially and now instead of worrying if I can afford school, I can rest easy and focus on my studies.
